Vitamin B1 Spanish

Develops oral and written Spanish through popular media in order for students to become acquainted with the customs and culture of Spanish speaking regions across the world. Focus in developing conversational skills. Grammar and spelling are covered based on students needs. Focus on improving listening to different accents in Spanish.

Students will need Vitamina B1 by Sarralde, Berta | Casarejos, Eva | Martínez, Daniel and Spanish-English Dictionary

Students learn how to talk about their experiences, narrate stories, talk about unforgettable moments, discuss the future, and explore hypothesis. Students will learn how to express their abilities, find a good workplace, perform an interview, talk about their emotions and wishes, write a professional email, and make comparisons. Students will learn how to describe people and relationships, talk about social norms, express finality, certainty, and doubt, talk about saving and consuming, and express quantity. Students will learn how to talk about healthy habits and art, give advice and recommendations, questions, confirm, correct and deny information, and sequence future actions. 
Once a topic is introduced throughout the week the student will have to continue developing it through hands on assignments that will feature new vocabulary, and will be discussed during the next meeting.
Focus on ensuring students develop their ability to understand Spanish spoken in different countries.
