An introduction to Spanish for students with no previous experience in Spanish. Oral approach that looks to develop fluent conversation and listening skills through basic conversation patterns. This course aims to provide a base for all four core language skills - reading, writing, listening, and speaking.
Students will need Vitamina Básico by Sarralde, Berta, Casarejos, Eva, and López, Monica and Spanish-English Dictionary
Students will learn how to introduce themselves, describe places, talk about their routine and make plans. Students will learn how to make comparisons, talk about past experiences, talk about location, accentuate, give orders, and talk about their health. Once a topic is introduced throughout the week the student will have to continue developing it through hands on assignments that will feature new vocabulary, and will be discussed during the next meeting. Each week pronunciation will be reinforced through a mix of tongue twisters, songs and games.
