Instructor: Christina Robson
In this hands-on ceramics class, students will explore the art of working with clay through the lens of Scripture. Drawing inspiration from Isaiah 64:8 and Jeremiah 18:6, we’ll reflect on how God shapes our lives with intention—just as a potter molds clay. As students learn foundational techniques in hand-building, wheel-throwing (if available), and glazing, they’ll also engage in meaningful discussions about identity, transformation, and being vessels for God’s purpose.
Each session combines skill-building in ceramics with a brief devotional or verse-based reflection, helping students connect their creative work with their walk of faith. By the end of the course, students will have a collection of unique ceramic pieces—and a deeper understanding of how God is shaping their lives from the inside out.
