Tap Essentials

Tap Essentials is a rhythm-filled, beginner-to-intermediate level class that builds strong foundational tap technique while encouraging musicality, coordination, and creativity. Dancers will explore fundamental tap steps, terminology, and timing in a fun, upbeat environment. Through exercises, combinations, and improvisational games, students will begin to understand the connection between sound and movement. This class is perfect for dancers who are newer to tap or looking to solidify and refine their base before progressing to more complex rhythms and combinations.

Students must have tap shoes.
