Instructor: Angela Drane
This class will begin with the basics of statistics and probability and continue to the more advanced hypothesis testing and statistical studies. We will look at graphs, charts, and tables to help visualize data. Students will learn how to calculate measures of center and measures of spread and what standard deviation really means. They will learn how to plan a study and do hypothesis testing, as well as how to effectively communicate their conclusions. Probability, both theoretical and experimental will be studied, and student will do probability experiments and learn how to consider probabilities in decision making.
Students will need a Laptop and a Google Account.
If you are interested in taking this class and have a schedule conflict please contact Mrs Drane.
Students who need to finish before 5/21 can take the final early. Spring break 3/2 to 3/20.
