This class deals primarily with personal finance. Additional topics show how math is a necessary part of our everyday world. Students will learn how to budget, save, and invest. They will make financial goals and learn how to spot and avoid scams. Understanding credit is the first step on making good financial decisions. Students will learn the real cost of credit and loans and the difference between wants and needs. The class will look at math used in the home and in decision making. This is a class designed to be of practical use to students as they graduate and move into the real world. Recommended for Juniors and Seniors.
Students will need a Laptop and a Google Account.
