Instructor: Erin Robson
In this engaging and interactive Pre-Algebra class, students will explore foundational math concepts through creative, hands-on activities designed to bring abstract ideas to life. Instead of simply working from a textbook, learners will build their own interactive math notebook, filled with foldables, diagrams, colorful notes, and practice problems. This notebook becomes a personalized study tool that helps students visualize and understand concepts such as integers, fractions, expressions, equations, ratios, proportions, and basic geometry.
Through games, manipulatives, group activities, and real-world math challenges, students will develop critical thinking skills and confidence in their mathematical abilities.
Students will need TI-84 calculator, graph paper composition book, pencil, colored markers
