Musical Theatre Essentials

This upbeat and engaging class introduces students to the foundations of musical theatre through movement, acting, and performance-based storytelling. Musical Theatre Essentials focuses on developing stage presence, expression, and confidence while reinforcing dance technique and ensemble work. Students will explore character work, simple choreography, vocal expression (spoken and sung), and introductory tap later in the year. This class is perfect for dancers and performers looking to build performance skills in a fun, supportive environment while learning how to blend acting, singing, and dancing with purpose and joy.

Students will need tap shoes.

Fine Arts performance mandatory
