Math Mania C/D

*All Math Mania courses are supplemental to an at-home math course. Age AND math skills should be considered when determining what math mania level is best for each student.*

In this class, students will learn and practice multiplication and division through games, activities, and friendly competition within groups. We will focus on building a foundation of the multiplication tables up through the 12's, long division, clock work, money matters, plus much more! This is a multi-sensory course designed to sharpen the math skills students have already been introduced to at home while having fun and working in groups.

Students will need a pencil box, binder, and paper.

Goals for Math Mania C/D -                   
Know ALL of the multiplication facts 1-12
Understand numbers to one-million
Able to count back change and add and subtract various combinations of money
Able to read a clock and tell time in any combination of hour and minute hand
Long division with remainders
Area/perimeter
Mental addition with regrouping of large numbers
Multiples and factors
Adding and subtracting fractions
Metric system
Multiplying and dividing by 1, 2 and 3 digit numbers
