Life Science - Learning About Plants and Animals

Study the 5 Kingdoms – Animals, Plants, Fungi, Bacteria, and Protists.

Learn by hands-on activities and visits to the zoo.

Videos will be used instead of books.

The first 15 weeks will cover vertebrate and invertebrate animals.  Which will include Chordata/Vertebrates, Arthropods, Annelids, Echinoderms, Cnidaria, and Mollusks. These weeks will include seeing and touching as many of these animals as possible.

The second 15 weeks will cover - Plants, Fungi, and Bacteria.  These weeks  will include experiments and taste tests of different plant foods.

Genesis 2:19-20

19 Now the LORD God had formed out of the ground all the wild animals and all the birds in the sky. God brought them to the man to see what he would name them; and whatever the man called each living creature, that was its name.

20 So the man gave names to all the livestock, the birds in the sky and all the wild animals.
