Biblical Narrative

Come experience the story of the Bible taught through a language arts perspective. Together we will explore not only the individual stories within the Biblical narrative, but we will discover how from Genesis to Revelation it's all a part of one incredible story that we are invited to be a part of!

This class will be taught as a language arts class as well as a Bible class. We will practice close reading strategies, study things like characters and symbolism, and have regular writing instruction and assignments. 

What should you expect? 

To read every week, both in and out of class. 
To write consistently and often. 
To actively engage in meaningful discussion & activities during class time.
To memorize and recite at least four passages from the Bible throughout the year. 

You will need a composition notebook, reliable access to Schoology, and your own copy of the Bible that you can bring to class (ESV or NIV preferred).
