Instructor: Ginger Sewell
This course takes students from the prehistoric cultures that first inhabited our beautiful land to the Spanish explorers and missionaries who began writing the history of Arizona and the surrounding territory. A study of famous mountain men and trails leads into the territorial days that were the forerunners of Arizona’s statehood. A short unit on World War I through World War II, including the Great Depression will be included at the end of our Arizona History binder. Additional material will cover the amazing Navajo Code Talkers. Art and craft projects will accompany and enhance the study of each unit.
