Instructor: Brittany Craver
ASL III is designed for students who have a strong foundation in American Sign Language and are ready to refine their fluency, accuracy, and expressive skills. This course focuses on advanced conversational techniques, complex grammar structures, and storytelling through role-shifting, classifiers, and non-manual markers. Students will engage in in-depth discussions, real-world signing scenarios, and expressive projects to enhance their ability to communicate naturally and confidently in ASL. Emphasis will also be placed on Deaf culture, linguistic nuances, and interpreting meaning beyond basic vocabulary. By the end of this course, students will be able to engage in fluid, expressive conversations and apply their ASL skills in various real-life contexts.
